...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING... The Flood Watch continues for * Portions of north central Ohio and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in north central Ohio, Crawford, Erie and Huron. In northwest Ohio, Hancock, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot. * Through Thursday morning. * Widespread rain that has occurred over northwest Ohio will continue to expand eastward across the area with periods of moderate to heavy rainfall rates possible. * Up to 2.5 inches has fallen across portions of northwest Ohio, especially in Lucas County. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is likely through today and tonight, with localized higher amounts possible. Areas of flooding is possible resulting in streams and banks flowing out of their banks and urban areas accumulating water in poor drainage areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. &&
