J. Cole has recently announced the new line-up for the 2019 Dreamville Festival and it will be the first event of its kind in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Dreamville Festival is a one-day event with the goal of having a positive impact on the city itself and becoming one of the most anticipated annual events in the city. The event takes place on April 6th at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, the home state of J. Cole.
The headliners for the day are: J. Cole himself, 21 Savage, SZA, Big Sean and 6lack. The line-up also includes: Bas, J.I.D, Earth Gang, Nelly and more admired artist. These performances will take place between two different stages with set times that flow accordingly to avoid overlapping of performances.
Along with the music, there are other events that take place at the park. Painters, body artists and air brush artists will be conducting live shows. Food vendors with more than 2/3 of them being from the Carolinas. Also, a marketplace where you can buy merch, art, jewelry and more. There's even a ball pit photo booth!
This festival will benefit the Dreamville Foundation, a organization that dedicates itself to create programs and events that sets the youth up for success. It will also benefit the Dix Park Conservancy and hurricane victims in the Carolinas. There are also various non-profits on site of the festival, such as: Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Find-A-Friend and A Better Choice Youth Program.
